  • 4 pieces Tortillas gluten-free tortillas work as a great alternative
  • 8 ounces Sliced Roast Beef turkey or chicken for lighter option
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Mozzarella or Provolone) other cheeses like cheddar can be used
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder substitute with fresh garlic if desired
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder finely chopped onions can be used if preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley fresh parsley can be used if available
For the Au Jus
  • 2 cups Beef Broth vegetable broth as a lighter alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce soy sauce can replace for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce omit for gluten-free
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. In the center of each tortilla, load up slices of roast beef and a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.
  3. Starting from the filled edge, roll each tortilla tightly, tucking in the ends as you go. Place each roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops of the rolled tortillas with melted butter. Then, sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley over each roll-up.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden-brown and bubbling.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  7. Once the roll-ups are golden and crispy, slice each roll-up into bite-sized pieces and serve warm with the prepared au jus.
