Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine instant yeast with warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Stir in olive oil, salt, sugar, and gradually add all-purpose flour along with fresh dill. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead briefly on a floured surface until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm spot for approximately 30 minutes.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, then whisk in flour.
- Gradually pour in whole milk while whisking until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan until smooth.
- Roll out the dough to about 12 inches in diameter and transfer to an oiled baking sheet or preheated pizza stone.
- Spread garlic white sauce over the crust, sprinkle mozzarella on top, and add dill pickle slices.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Prepare creamy garlic sauce with sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, dill pickle juice, and fresh dill. Adjust seasonings.
- Once baked, let the pizza cool, slice, and serve immediately with the creamy sauce for dipping.
