Step-by-Step Instructions for Cajun Boiled Eggs
  1. Begin by filling a medium-sized pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil. Lower in 6-8 large, cold eggs and cook for 9-12 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool quickly.
  3. In a saucepan, melt 1 stick of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add in 1/4 cup of sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of garlic paste. Add 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic and onion powder.
